Imidazole modified latent curing agent is a kind of chemically modified curing agent, which can form a one-component system with epoxy resin and so on. it is stable at room temperature and quickly cured under specific conditions
Common application areas
(1) Powder coating: As a curing agent of epoxy resin powder coating, it can realize low temperature or rapid curing and improve production efficiency, and the obtained coating has excellent wear resistance, corrosion resistance, weather resistance and the like and is widely used for surface coating of household appliances, automobile parts, metal furniture and the like.
(2) Anti-corrosion coating: It is used in marine engineering, petrochemical industry, bridge building and other fields to protect the metal matrix from corrosion media (such as seawater, acid-base solution, salt fog, etc.) and prolong the service life of facilities.
(3) Floor coating: The epoxy resin floor coating has good abrasion resistance, impact resistance, chemical resistance and aesthetics, and is commonly used for floor coating of industrial plants, parking lots, commercial places and other places.
3. Adhesive field
(1) Structural adhesive: It is used for the structural bonding of metals, composite materials, plastics and other materials in the industries of aerospace, automobile manufacturing, mechanical manufacturing, etc., to provide high strength, high toughness and fatigue resistance, and ensure the reliability of structural connection.
(2) One-component epoxy adhesive: Using its latent property, it is stable at normal temperature, and can be triggered and solidified by heating and other conditions when it is used. It is convenient to operate, and is suitable for bonding scenes with high requirements for operation convenience and storage stability, such as electronic equipment assembly and small parts bonding.
4. The field of composite materials
(1) Fiber reinforced composites: Carbon fiber reinforced composites (CFRP), glass fiber reinforced composites (GFRP), etc. are prepared and used as structural components of aerospace vehicles, lightweight components of automobiles, sporting goods (such as golf clubs and bicycle frames), etc. to impart good mechanical properties, heat resistance and chemical corrosion resistance to the composites.
(2) Resin matrix composite molding process: Such as prepreg, fiber winding, pultrusion process, imidazole modified latent curing agent can make the resin matrix curing under appropriate conditions, realize the composite molding and performance optimization.
Packaging & storage
Packaging specifications for 25Kg plastic drums, user-specified packaging. Store in a dry, cool, closed condition. Be sure to avoid contact with acids and oxidizing agents. The storage period of the product under the original packaging conditions is 12 months from the date of production; Non flammable, explosive, belongs to the general dangerous goods.
