Pentaerythritol tris(3-aziridinyl) propanoate is a high-performance, environmentally friendly aziridine-based crosslinking agent. It is widely used in water-based and partially solvent-based inks, coatings, and adhesive systems, significantly enhancing the durability and adhesion of crosslinked film-forming products without releasing harmful substances such as formaldehyde.

• Significantly improves:

  • Washing resistance

  • Scrubbing resistance

  • Chemical resistance

  • Adhesion on various substrates

• An environmentally friendly crosslinking agent that does not release formaldehyde after crosslinking

• The cured products are non-toxic and odorless

Method of Application

• Typical dosage: 1–3% of the solid content of acrylic emulsions or polyurethane dispersions

• Recommended emulsion pH: 9.0–9.5

• Not suitable for acidic systems

• Primarily reacts with carboxyl groups in the emulsion

• Can be used at room temperature; improved curing performance at 60–80 °C

• Users should conduct application tests according to their specific process requirements

• This is a two-component crosslinking agent

• Recommended pot life: 6–8 hours after addition to the system

• Actual service life should be evaluated based on use temperature and compatible resin system

• The product has a slight ammonia odor

• Handle carefully to avoid contact with skin and eyes

• Use in a well-ventilated environment

• During spraying, pay special attention to oral and nasal inhalation and wear protective masks, gloves, and protective clothing

Packaging & Storage

• Packaging: 25 kg plastic drums or user-specified packaging

• Storage conditions:

  • Store in a dry, cool, dark, tightly closed, and high-temperature-resistant environment

  • Avoid contact with acids and oxidizing agents

• Shelf life: 12 months from the date of production under original packaging conditions

• Safety classification: Non-flammable and non-explosive, but slightly corrosive; classified as general dangerous goods
