Organic Zinc is a high-purity zinc-based additive widely used in the rubber and ceramic industries. Compared with conventional zinc oxide, organic zinc offers higher vulcanization efficiency, improved mechanical properties, and lower dosage requirements, making it an advanced functional alternative for performance-driven applications.
| Performance | Value or State |
|---|---|
| Appearance | White to pale yellow powder |
| Zinc (Zn) Content | 60.5 ± 0.5% |
| Stacking Density | 840 kg/m³ |
| Free Metal (based on Zn) | None |
| Moisture Content | ≤ 0.5% |

Organic zinc effectively reduces Mooney viscosity of rubber compounds
Significantly increases torque rise rate and degree of vulcanization of natural rubber (NR) during curing
Compared with zinc oxide, organic zinc:
Greatly improves the vulcanization degree of NR vulcanizates
Enhances tensile strength and tensile stress at all levels
Causes a slight decrease in elongation at break
After damp-heat aging of vulcanized rubber:
Tensile strength mainly decreases
Elongation at break increases
Overall post-aging strength is equivalent to that achieved with zinc oxide
An important functional additive for rubber products
Improves:
Vulcanization activity
Vulcanization speed
Abrasion resistance
Tear resistance
Heat resistance
Extends the service life of rubber products
Recommended dosage:
60%–80% of the amount of conventional zinc oxide
Reduces the sintering temperature of ceramic materials
Improves:
Compactness
Mechanical strength
Dielectric properties
Commonly used in:
Electronic ceramics
Structural ceramics
Other advanced ceramic products
