Solubility

BN-PC02-23 can be dispersed in water-based systems without forming precipitates.
It may be diluted with organic solvents or water, depending on formulation requirements.

Proposed Uses

  1. Suitable for acrylic resins containing carboxyl groups, polyurethane resins, and related systems

  2. Applicable in coatings, inks, and finishing varnishes for:

    • Plastic packaging films

    • Paper packaging

    • Labels

    • Wood

    • Metal

    • Fabric or leather

  3. Low toxicity (non-genotoxic and non-mutagenic) multifunctional polymeric aziridine crosslinker for use in industries involving food contact

Method of Application

BN-PC02-23 is suitable for industrial and architectural aqueous coating systems, as well as leather and textile coatings.

  • Recommended dosage: 4–8% (liquid vs. liquid), depending on polymer functionality and system solids content

  • Pot life:

    • Dependent on system pH

    • Typically > 48 hours at pH > 7.5

    • Pot life increases at higher pH levels

  • Crosslinking conditions:

    • Reaction occurs at room temperature

    • Final resistance may require several days

    • Crosslinking efficiency and performance improve at higher curing temperatures

Packaging & Storage

  • Packaging: 25 kg plastic barrels or user-specified packaging

  • Storage conditions:

    • Store indoors in original, unopened, and undamaged containers

    • Dry environment at 5–40 °C

    • Avoid direct sunlight

  • Shelf life: 6 months from the date of production under original packaging conditions

  • Safety classification: Non-flammable and non-explosive, but slightly corrosive; classified as general dangerous goods
